No postmark. This picture, taken in the late 1940s shows the harbour cottage in disrepair, prior to its conversion to an art gallery. The boat in the foreground is the ‘Lavinia’, owned by John Poland. The large anchor was recovered by Donald Tait from the wreck of the schooner ‘Mary B.Mitchell’, which was wrecked in the bay in 1944.
