Kirkcudbright Harbour 25th December 201629th December 2016 by Webmaster / No postmark. ‘Utopia’ dries her sails on the far side of the old harbour, and ‘Daisy’ is rigged for unloading on the near side. The bollard in the foreground was once a retort chamber in the gas works, and is still in use as a bollard at the present quay. A useful little crane stands on the pier behind the ‘Utopia’. The ‘Daisy’ was wrecked in Kirkcudbright Bay on 20/12/1900. The ‘Utopia’ was wrecked at Carsethorne on 23/11/1898.
